Rainbow Rescue & Adoption of (North Central) West Virginia (Fairmont) was founded as a formal manifestation of the rescue and adoption efforts conducted primarily by Kammi Kai Hefner, her immediate family members, and close friends. Over the past 30 years these individuals have personally rescued and adopted numerous abandoned animals in WV (primarily dogs). In other words, most all of the dogs and cats ended-up living with one of us! We are not a rescue organization in the traditional sense (.i.e, we DO NOT have a facility), we are: "Rescue in Cyberspace!", "A Rainbow of Friends! Helping Friends" networked via the Internet to help our animal Friends! From this work our on-line web services are dedicated to assisting others who are involved in rescue in a similar way. We want the RR&A Web Site to help you: find & adopt a Friend in Need (maybe one of ours, maybe one of yours), post information about Friends in Need, post information about Lost & Found Friends, and network via the Internet in hopes of finding homes for Friends in need (lost/found/abandoned/placing/adopting). email us at rescue@pobox.com immediately. |
