Dolly Sue's Story
Dolly Sue is an AKC Registered American Foxhound.
Dolly Sue was purchased as a show dog. Her father is the famous
BEST IN SHOW CHAMPION Kelly Mountain's Prime Time.
Many of you have probably seen him on TV during the Westminster dog show. His owner/handler,
Mr. James Rea would have had on his jacket depicting a Foxhound hunt scene!
Dolly Sue has been shown but there is usually no
competition. And, without breed points we could not finish her. So we decided to retire her from
showing last year. Thus, we spayed her last Fall.
Dolly Sue loves people and dogs. In fact, she has made many Therapy visits at our
local nursing home (see her picture below).
As you will see from her pictures she loves to spend time laying on cable spools in
the yard. She loves the outdoors and will spend any where from 10-12 hours a day outside.
Elsewise, she eats and sleeps in her crate inside our house. She is a very good eater. She also loves
supervised bone time with a raw hide during the evening. And, she can never have enough
marrow bones at her disposal!
She is current on her vaccinations and gets 1% Ivermectin monthly in her
for food for her heartworm.
We are looking for a home with a fenced in back yard, where she can have
2-3 cable spools to sunbath on during the day; a home where she sleeps inside at night; a
home where someome will provide her supervised bone time; and a home where she can
possibly continue to particiapate in Therapy visits. She will make some a very nice companion.

Dolly Sue currently lives in the beautiful mountains of West Virginia with Kammi,
but we will make arrangements for
her to be seen in Chambersburg, PA (1 1/2 hours south of Harrisburg, PA) at Kimma's.
